Attaining Professional
Development Hours (PDHs) and Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Attendees of Lean University --
Race City USA will receive credit toward licensing
requirements or Lean certification from the organizations
below.
North Carolina Board of
Examiners
 Lean
University -- Race CIty USA is an approved sponsor of
Continuing Professional Competency activities for
Professional Engineers and Surveyors licensed by the State
of North Carolina. Attendees of Lean
University -- Race City USA will receive 12 Professional
Development Hours (PDHs), recognized by the North Carolina
Board of Examiners. Attendees licensed by the Board
of Examiners will be given a certificate of attendance at
the conclusion of the event. Lean University will submit
quarterly reports to the Board of Examiners regarding
attendees licensed by the Board. If you want to receive
credit for this course, present your Board-assigned license
number to the Lean University staff either when you register
or at the event.
Society for Manufacturing
Engineers
Lean
University -- Race City USA training may be applied towards
education and training requirements for Lean
Certification sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing
Engineers, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence and
the Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing.
Participants are encouraged to pursue the progressive Lean
Certification as part of their personal development in Lean.
